The girl who lived.

I'm not as bad as people say or think I am.
But then again I'm not as good either.
So, I dare you to try and understand me.

We fell down a lot before we fell in love.

One of the tricks to being happy is surrounding yourself with the right people.  People that appreciate you, and show it.  Cause see, what good is appreciation when the person you appreciate can’t appreciate it? It’s not that they have high standards or anything like that, it’s simply because they just don’t know.  Some people can view this as being “insecure”, and you know what? That could be it, (I’m a pretty insecure person) but that doesn’t really change much does it?  A person is still left wondering if what they’re doing is worth anything.  Sometimes things need to be said, to be heard.  Hearing “I appreciate you” can go a long way with someone, and if you add genuine appreciation to that, it can do magic.  I think happiness is true magic, because it can change everything.

Wow, it’s been a long time since I blogged, or even looked through my old entries.  And I must say, WOW.  You can definitely sense a big change in my life if you go back far enough.  I even found some stuff I kept on private and man, I was really.. hm what’s the word?… Passionate about somethings.  It definitely reminded me of who I was back then and how much I’ve grown since.  I was hurt a lot in the past, and in those moments I never thought I’d get over it.  But I’m here blogging about how I did.  My world did not end in those moments of sadness like I thought it did.  Little did I know, things were just getting started for me.  And like I said in the beginning of this blog you can sense where everything changed for me.  So for everyone that still reads my blog that’s going through a hard time, I’m here to tell you (as cliche as it sounds) that it really does get better in time.  It might take years, it might take seconds.  It really all depends on you.  Lord knows, it took me a helluva long time to get over my troubles.  But I did.  You will too.
